about me

Hi, I am Aoife Reddan, I was born and raised in Ireland but I now call
New York City home. I live here with my husband, two young sons and baby girl.
For as long as I can remember, I have been inspired to create art. While living and working in Hong Kong, I would spend my weekends exploring with my camera, studying the culture and rawness of the city through my lens. When I moved to New York, I knew photography was for me, and I wanted to make it a career. I enrolled at New York Film Academy and from there, my photography career was born.
I started off in brand photography but after the birth of our first son, I found myself being drawn to family photography. I loved capturing every milestone and the precious family moments we shared together as my son grew. Looking back on these treasured photos helps to bring those memories back to life. I want other families to have their own special memories to look back on.
There is no greater honor than being invited to capture a family’s special milestones and help preserve these moments through my lens. Capturing the simple details; the joy in a family’s eyes, the laughter and fun they share together, and the love and light in their faces.

Hi, it's so nice to meet you

I am a New York City based Motherhood and Family photographer, inspired by the timeless moments of love, connection and emotion within a family.

Aoife has such a lovely, calm presence and a fun, gentle way with the kids. She has the skill to bring out and capture the most natural, candid and happy interactions for my kids and the whole family. Not only is Aoife a gem of a person to work with, she is an incredibly talented photographer and we absolutely cherish all the pictures and have a difficult time choosing only a few!
